Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team!

Annette Allen

Using: Monochrome Stamp SetDoily Square DieWilly and Friends Die

WFC-1-04-Annette Allen

What Annette Says:
I first die cut Waffle Flowers Crafts: Doily Square Die and then used it as a stencil. Using dabblers I added this fun colorful blend of colors. I then die cut the middle using the Doily Square Die and created a fun window almost like if you were going to create a shaker card just minus the sequins. Finishing off with rounding the corners.

Shelly Kurth

Using: In Every Way Stamp SetLoved Stamp SetTiny Wings Die

WFC-1-04-Shelly Kurth

What Shelly Says:
For my stenciling, I chose to make my own stencil using the Tiny Wings die. I took a piece of scrap paper and one by one placed the butterfly where I wanted it and ran it through my die cutting machine. Thus giving me my stencil.

Laura Jane

Using: Magical Stamp SetHoliday Labels: MerryIn Every Way Stamp Set; Surface – Tag Die – Scallop Add-on

WFC-1-04-Laura Jane

What Laura Says:
For my card I started out with a stencil made from the Tag Scallop Die. To create a “window”, I inked it up with Distress Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Seedless Preserves. Then I added several snowflakes and trees, embossed in different colors, for a wintery scene. Finished it off with the Magical Die in Silver paper:)

[Guest] Quyen Ngo

Using: Bowtiful Stamp Set

WFC-1-14-Guest Quyen Ngo

What Quyen Says:
I used distress inks in peacock feathers and tumbled glass to sponge on a template. I then repositioned the template slightly offset and used a white gelly roll pen to trace over the spaces.
After the ink was dried, I stamped the sentiment and bow image (from Waffle Flower bowtiful stamp set) in VersaFine Onyx Black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. As it was a simple card, to finish, I rounded the outer edges and put on some gems in random places for a little sparkle.

Aren’t these cards fantastic? For more details, please click on the designer’s name/link! We love creating our own stencils using dies, how about you?
